Where you stay is an important part of the experience.
Rather than placing the entire group in a single large hotel, we have chosen three distinctive four-star properties in the countryside surrounding Blois:
Auberge de la Caillère · Le Relais des Landes · Château de la Rozelle
Each has been selected for its individual character, warm hospitality and peaceful setting, offering guests a more intimate and personal way to experience the Loire Valley.
From elegant château surroundings to relaxed country-house charm, the three properties each have their own atmosphere, while sharing the qualities we felt were essential for this event: comfort, character and a genuine sense of place.
This approach also allows us to keep the accommodation experience in harmony with the spirit of the retreat itself. The event is intentionally intimate, and the hotels reflect that smaller, characterful properties rather than a large conventional group hotel.
Each morning, guests will come together for the day's programme of embroidery and shared experiences. In the evenings, they will return to the tranquillity of their chosen hotel, with time to relax, reflect on the day and enjoy the slower rhythm of the Loire countryside.
For us, the accommodation is not simply somewhere to sleep. It is part of the wider experience a chance to live, even briefly, within the landscape and atmosphere that make this part of France so special.

Accessibility: The historic 17th-century property is not currently fully certified for reduced-mobility access and there is no lift to the upper floors, although ramps, wheelchair equipment and assistance are available. suitable for guests with reduced mobility
